Now it’s the rainy season you'll be most likely thinking of ways to keep dry.
But if you thought function couldn't mean fashion then you're dead wrong (btw - I don't count Burberry check umbrellas or boots as style).

French quirkmeisters Pylones are the kings of injecting a little life (and fun) into otherwise mundane objects. I was introduced to the label few years ago in Paris where I ended up on shopping spree for their cute and colourful kitchen objects and stocked up on umbrellas!
The Rain Parade umbrellas... Don't you just want all of them? |
I just couldn’t resist or pick only one of these super cute things and Iended up buying two umbrellas despite living (at that time) in a dry place like Dubai where it hardly ever rained.
Their distinct design and bright colours are sure to brighten any rainy or gloomy day. Plus they are functional, come with their own cover and fit perfectly in my tote.
Naturally, ever since moving to Singapore and the start of the rainy season, I’ve been making use of my aqua Geisha girl and red Spanish Dancer umbrellas and I was delighted to know that they are locally stocked at Paragon on Orchard road. Not that I need another one now, but just in case my outfit does and just so I can spread the word to those of you stuck with their 7/11 umbrellas! J
Pylones Kitty Cat and Rain parade (characters) umbrellas are available at Paragon for S$54.
